LANTANG REGION TREKS
Langtang Helambu trek about 72 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu, is noted for its scenic grandeur and pleasant climate. The Helambu region, extending from north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal, has several highland Tamang and Sherpa villages.
We start in the lower Langtang Valley, trekking through its forests and among the villages and farmlands of its people. During part of the trek you will be walking through National Park. Among those found in the park are monkeys, musk deer, pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colourful danphe.
Langtang Ganjala Pass Trek starts from Syabru Bensi, ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybru Bensi, you will follow the Langtang river to the east until you get to Kyanching Gompa (3,049.).Much of this route is spent above 3,000m (10,000ft) .The highest point of this trek is Ganjala Pass (5,122m ).
Langtang Gosaikunda trek combines the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang, with the high mountain lakes at Gosainkund.
Visit the beautiful Langtang National park and then trek to the end of the valley to view the wonderful mountains views.
